[STEAM] An error occurred while updating Path of Exile (manifest unavailable)

This morning Steam is giving me this error while trying to download latest patch:
 Any clue on how to solve it? Last bumped on Sep 3, 2018, 12:17:30 PM

Nope.
I've uninstalled the steam version and am downloading the stand-alone client right now. |

I started with stand-alone client many years ago, still using the same account, so hopefully that won't be necessary.

I had the same issue on steam.
I changed my steam download region from Europe (italy) to U.S. New York and now it's downloading fine. You can change the region through the Steam client in Steam-Settings-download-download region. Hope it helps! Last edited by desilus#4035 on Sep 2, 2018, 9:37:23 AM
