Seven-League Step Boots just disappeared

Hey i had a pair of seven league step boots since many leagues on standart. yesterday i leveled with them. now i logged in after the Server reset and they are just gone! not even procurement can find them anymore. my Char who had worn the boots now just has no boots at all. Cmon man u know how expensive These boots are? and now i have to read that if an item dissapered you cant do Nothing About it? thats not fair ggg. if anyone knows how this could have happened or if there might be a solution please let me know.

1. items do not just disappear, something like that would effect the DB which saves everything for every character and player in the game.

2. As with most "i lost the item" threads it is likely in one of your crafting benches...the benches though are character bound so you would need to go though all the characters and check them all.

3. IF the item has been lost there is no way that GGG are going to restore it (they never have and never will do this as it would eat support time to just verify what happened to the item and IF it would fall under their policy to restore it, also taking into account the cunts that WILL try to game the system)

the first Thing i did was to check the benches even i knew i did not put them there why would i try to they cant be craftet Maybe vorici but i already had the sockets i needed. so what could have happened to my boots? is it possible someone got into my account and traded them to themself? without me noticing it? or is there a possibility that ggg did something with the Server and thats why they are gone? im Kind of clueless know. im sure i did Nothing to them. can´t ggg look somehow if they were traded away?
Unlikely somebody would access your account if they could and just take your boots. They’d take all your currency.

I’ve seen videos of people who recorded their items disappearing and when going frame by frame they actually destroyed the item. In a flurry of activity with inventory open in town or hideout the item they ended up with the item on their cursor and tried to drop it and they just so happened to click exactly where the destory confirmation appeared. Were you moving items around quickly when it happened? Actually the above scenario would result in the item getting dropped on the ground in areas where items can drop. I think unless your loot filter hid it, you would have noticed.
