Gladiator legendary, the surrender builds
I post this build for who like gladiator with max shield block and tanky. GEAR:

Weapon: 1H sword with 300 DPS+
Helmet: Abyssus for more damage (legacy ver not required). Body armour: Craiceann'carapace: for high life and armour. anh aspect of the crab for more phy dmg reduction: 90% phy dmg reduction. So the increase phy taken form abyssus is no problem (not required, u can use other 6L body armour as well). Gloves: Acuity: for crit, intelligent, life, life leed instantly (not required). Boots: Craiceann' tracks, Stun immunity(not required). Shield: The surrender. High armour, 250 life recover is good for long fight like Uber elder. Must have! Assecsories: Flasks:

Main link: Blade flurry => melee phy => Dmg on full life => Maim => crit strike support => AoE/Concentrated.
Moving : Whirling + faster attack + blood magic. Reckoning + Crit change + gain power charge on crit + aoe. Reckoning + curse on hit + assasin mark + culling. I`m about to do something similar but with Reave.
Wanted to asked you, about Auras setup. Purity of Lightning and Purity of Cold are there, because we will have hard time to up the resist or because of + max resist? If i have max resist, should i use Herald of Ash and Hatred ? |

Is this good gear for this build: And Lioneye Remorse or The Surrender will be better Shield choice? What will be better overall rare chest, helmet, boots and gloves or Aspect of the Crab set? This is the passive i think will be kinda optimal with the red nightmare jewel. BTW, great build. I did tried Marauder Juggernaut with one hand and shield with Reave, it was not bad, but far from solid. Died on 14+ maps with nasty mods, DMG was also lacking. if you are into minmaxing and run legacy helm enchanted Abyssus and legacy Acuity, i would suggest running either The Anvil (which at that gear stage i hate) or a nice shaped amulet with +2 max block chance. you can find slighty worse ones for not that big of an investment. raising your maxblock cap is absolutey the best you can do for a maxblock build. | |

I was doing arround 100-110k. with Reave, crit chance was arround 30% with the Golem and running Critical Strike Chance gem. Hp was 7,2k, block chance was arround 50%, but only to mele, cause of Marauder Ascendancy.
I was running Undeniable, so Accuracy was 7,5k. hard capped at 95%. I`m not a guy who would want only max character, optimal one or play exactly the current meta, but the Character was kinda off and i decide to turn my Marauder into Two Hand Weapon. I get this for cheap and i didnt need to change much. Now playing this one on Heavy Strike. Atleast the DMG is a lot better, but still dying in some ocasion. But need 4-5 passive for armour nodes, so i can get 90% reduction. But my favorite looking character is one hand sword/axe and Shield, still from my Diablo 2 years. :D So i will make a Duelist and i geting information for it, then will start it. Red a lot of threads, but i really like your and the idea of Red nightmare jewel. That is arround 13% block chance and we also will got a endurance charge, which is very good. I also like your counterattack skill. I never thinkind of that before, but i`m kinda still new to the game. This build thread is perfect for me and i hope you post regularly your changes. I started my Gladiator. Was thinking to wait for the new league, but then i can`t use my items and would have hard time to equp.
I decide to get And the only piece i miss is the Red nightmare Jewel. I wanted to asked you, what auras should i run ? Hatred + Herald of Ash is the option 1 and with level 3/4 Enlighten Aspect of the Crab. The other option is obvious Aspect of the Crab, Herald of Purity and some Curse as Aura ? What you think will be best, pure physical with brutality or hatred/ash for convert? Is Aspect of the Crab worth it to reserve 25% mana for it ? I still cant decide should i run it and to use Chest/Boots(I think it`s enough for the set) or to play with rare item on Chest/Boots slot. |

Aspect of the Crab will reserve 25% ur max mana. I use Craiceann'carapace and Aspect of the Crab due to i use Abyssus to reduce phy taken, stun and bleed immunity. The Red nightmare Jewel should have to cap max block and maintain number of crab. For auras, should base on ur items, if u have capped ur max resi, u can use Herald of Purity, Hatred or Herald of Ash. |
