All Characters Missing on Log-In

I haven't played since the beginning of July, but decided to log in today to see what's going on with events/the next league. When I got to my character selection screen, all my characters are gone, and there's only a lvl 2 marauder with a random string of letters for a name.

I use the Steam client, if that makes any difference.
