Delve release date for xbox?

GGG,

Can you guys please confirm when the xbox release date for delve will be? The last league released on a Monday, which I had absolutely no clue about... not to mention how Monday is the worst date for a release on a league for those of us who have jobs...

I'm really hoping you guys will release it on the Friday along with PC, seeing as to how it is a holiday weekend.

Please let us know so we can schedule time off work to nerd it up on the new league!

I was hoping they would be able to release both at the same time by now but whatever, 4 days aint so bad and who knows, maybe they will be ahead of schedule and release on the same day as PC lol

ughhh... I saw that too... why would you ever release it on a MONDAY?! Literally THE WORST day of a week to do a video game release....

I would rather have them delay it and do it on a Thursday or Friday than a freaking Monday... what a disappointment.

My recollection of previous discussions is that players wanted the Xbox release date as close as possible to the PC release date. So do we have a difference of opinion here, or a change of heart? It seems fairly clear (to me at least) that major new content will continue to lag on Xbox for some time - GGG seems to have it down to about a working day or two (if you figure that the weekend is a dead zone).

So one of the choices available currently is likely not going to be, simultaneous release. It's more like, what does the broad player base want in the meantime.

Will we ever be looking at the possibility of a same day release as PC? Monday is a major issues for people like me who have work or school and simply cannot take that many days off work. The issue with a Monday release is players like me get so far behind compared to those who don't have to work and can play the entire week, whereas I'm stuck being at work for 9 hours a day Monday through Friday.

I personally preferred the Thursday releases that xbox had previously, as that gave me only 1.5 days to request off, and being able to play over the weekend. I personally never cared about the release being delayed compared to PC (I know everyone has difference of opinion on this).

Surely your launch date player numbers are much higher at the end of the week compared to a Monday, no?

Well, that's one firm opinion. But I do hear you. Personally, I am still irked regarding the push-stick-search key binds that for all intents and purposes, appear to have been foisted on everyone because a few motivated players lobbied strongly for them (strictly speaking, it was a by-product of their intent). So if other players have an opinion, I suggest that you make it known, much as OP has. (But the post from Jeff does not sound like a change is in the offering.)

Me, I do not have a strong opinion either way. The Monday launch favours me, but I am not good enough to leverage that advantage into anything meaningful.
