[3.15] SKELEMANCER (Skeletons Summoner) 2021 Necromancer Build. 15M DPS. SSF + VIDEO GUIDE

Very inspiring guide! I love summoners but never touched skellies till now. I'm not in the endgame yet, but it looks very promising.

Some questions/suggestions:

1. I tried Victario's Charity mit NecroAegis, but i think it's a bit underwhelming. Especially the on kill power charge generation.
So i decided to go full defense with Lioneye's Remorse and no NercoAegis. Instead i use the Death Attunement passive for the second specter: one carnage chieftain (frenzy charges) and one host chieftain (powercharges) with blood magic linked to them. They spam charges for the team and have an insane uptime thanks to bloodmagic.
Have you ever tried the apes? Opinions?

2. I'm running Severed in Sleep (planing to go United in Dream if i can afford it). I know poison on minions isn't as good as it used to be, but i like it so far. The life leech on United in Dream seems promising.
Do you think the leech is useful/worthwhile for harder content/bosses that often try to kill our skellies? Or is skeleton survivability useless because of the resummoning aspect?
Personally i like to have them around as long as possible, because new skellies need to be buffed up with charges first.

3. I switched to Spirit Offering. It seems that the conversion to chaos damage is worth more than a little more attack speed (we are already stacking a lot of attack speed with frenzy charges, haste aura, skilltree)and it should scale my poison damage a little more. But i could be wrong on this.
Is the minion movement speed of flesh offering something i'm underestimating?
What's your opinion/experience with spirit offering and skellies?

4. I'm a lazy person und don't want to push too many buttons, so i put two cwdt setups in my built:
cwdt-desecrate-convocation-enfeeble
cwdt-inc duration-spirit offering-steelskin
Do you think it's more important to use some of these skills manually (in certain situations i'm not thinkng of right now) instead of quality of life playstyle?

Thanks for the guide! Keep up the good work!

1) Apes were nerfed and don't spam as often as they did before. So generally speaking, not worth investing. They will die to heavy damage anyway. No minion leech or damage on them so they will not live in end-game
2) leech is not very useful. Low life pool, and they get wiped anyway
3) haven't tried. But mobility is very useful
4) can be on cwdt as well.

Well, you don't need Necromantic Aegis with no shield... So that can go into more life or damage nodes.
would anyone be so kind and post a short clip of him doing a legion monolith with this build? would be super appreciated!
In what level should I start using skeletons? or Vaal skeletons?

I was looking for a good skeleton guide for 3.7 and found this, but it raised a few questions for me.
I have played a few minion builds in the past. Never did uber elder with it, but all other content is done.
I noticed a few things playing minion builds:
1. Minion Movement Speed is a big part of the clear speed when you use skeletons.
2. Aura's are not very useful because in late end game you try to offscreen stuff with your minions and they are almost always out of range.

Therefore I would prefer to play with Queen's Escape, drop Necro Aegis and Commander of Darkness and go instead for Soul Weaver for the 100% Spectre Life.
By dropping the part of the tree for Necro Aegis you get a few extra passive nodes: invest them in minion life too. This way your frenzy and power charge apes will not die. Especially if you combine them with the guardian in a +2-+3 helmet with extra minion life, the minion life support gem and empower.

Curses are only needed on bosses because other stuff dies fast anyway so any manual casting of a curse is manageable.

For minion damage the new timeless jewels create an interesting option to invest in. I personally found a 320% minion damage jewel that I use now. Therefor any other passive skill point with just 10%-15% minion damage or minion damage on gear can be skipped.

Now you can fully concentrate on getting your defenses in working order and buy minion movement speed jewelry for the last drop of clear speed.
I think this way the build becomes more enjoyable and still has the same DPS potential for bosses.
