Starforge/Voidforge newbie questions

:D no obligations! The whole point of my posts was to make you aware that conversion = good for Voidforge, bad for Starforge. What you do with that information is entirely up to you.
There is no law that says you always have to do the optimal thing in a videogame :D. If it was my char, i would focus on Icecrash and use Hrimsorrow gloves for 100% cold conversion (they cost 1 alchemy in trade league). But that's just me^^. dedadadadedoodoodoo is all i want to say to you

Yeah yesterday i did that change almsot all of my items and used all of my currency :D now all that is left is to fix my resistances with rings and belts.
Odd thing is the dps over my skill icons is showing low right now. Haven't tried them on mobs yet. I guess its not accurate cause of the 300% elem and conv. from items? |

At this point it would be helpful, if you opened your profile, in order to make your characters visible. (Your character on this site on the top -> privacy settings -> uncheck the first box).
I thought we were talking about some very distant vague plans here, not about imminent changes, otherwise i would have asked for that earlier. I've been wanting to spec back into Ice Crash for a bit after having played around with a Starforge build so this thread piqued my interest. I loaded my toon into POB and started messing around with Voidforge. In the end, Doomsower crushed the numbers that I was able to eke out of a Voidforge build (before switching out my gloves for Hrimburn to get 100% conversion, too) and I'm not sure why.
I think my toons are public. Character in question is BringerOfIcyDoom and I know a lot of the gear is relatively crappy so be nice. There are two types of POE players:
1) Those who want to walk uphill both ways barefoot on broken glass wearing a blindfold 2) F*cking noobs I identify as transnational Chinese. May I have access to their QOL features, please? |

" Nope :D. One reason for the Voidforge PoB could be though, that PoB doesn't factor in the 300% extra ele damage. (It will only show a quarter of your damage essentially) You have to manually edit Voidforge and set it to a specific element before PoB will work things out correctly. Nothing too terrible :D.
Just a few hints: - 1) You are not greedy enough with your points in the tree. You spend two points to get 30 int, and path somewhat awkwardly from Duelist to Marauder, given that you pick up Berserking. The whole branch alongside Wrecking ball/Hematophagy ends up costing you more points that way, than it might look at first glance. 2) With Voidforge you should really consider to get gearupgrades with flat accuracy and go for Ele Overload instead of RT. With proper total Accuracy (2k is fine for noncrit) it should be something like 15-25% more dps, depending on how much accuracy you get. 3) The Flamegolem setup i cant understand for the life of it. What are you trying to achieve with that? :D. PoB-suggestion (Just a tree), oriented on what you have: https://pastebin.com/UD8tP3vv (Use with "import from Pastebin" in PoB.) I'm not a huge Fan of Bloodmagic, but since you have it, i've tried to incorporate it. Other than that: Get some gearupgrades, dude ^^. " Yeah, that toon was more of a plaything to grab some challenges that are easier to earn while leveling and to try out a 2h build, similar to the melee EH toon and yet another Raider. Their trees and gear are constantly evolving as I experiment (flame golem) and learn more of the quirks of their mechanics and find new stuff. I really don't trade much because I work a lot but I did get lucky and find a 5l Voidforge for 2EX. Good advice, though. I will change some things up if I keep playing it after league ends. Thanks.
