How many maps can i run before elder moves

So i got uber elder to spawn, but i am missing some guardian maps to run for the elder guardians.

How many maps can i run without elder leaving the center , or does the change in 3.3 only effect normal elder from eventually moving?

Doesn't the patch note say 20 maps?

yes , i forgot to say if i kill one of the guardians , does this omit the 20 map limit :D
or is it 20 maps per 1 guardian kill ?

If you complete 20 maps without defeating any Guardian/him, he has a chance to disappear - so I'd say you can do 19 or 20 (I'm not sure if he disappears at 20th or 21st?), then kill one of them, then again 19/20...
Here is what i understand of the algorithm, according to many observations :

The "elder counter" & "elder flag" are both resetted (0) when elder & his guardians just spawned, or when a guardian was just defeated.
Otherwise, each time a map is completed, the counter is incremented (+1).
When the counter reaches 20-21, the flag is set (1).
After each map completion, the game checks if the flag is set, and if yes, an unknown RNG roll is performed to determine if elder and his guardians vanish or not (including the influence that was present on the occupied maps).

Now, it's worth mentioning that for occupied maps, if you don't enter the sub-area, the counter isn't incremented at all, even if you clear the map (and all elder|shaper influence locations on the atlas are frozen aswell).
PLEASE QUOTE ME IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A REPLY

soo as long as i kill one guardian per temple , it should remain there.
Thanks, i wanted to be sure it was resetting after a guardian kill so i could slow play it a bit and not rush out to buy the maps i was missing.
