Technical Support (Path of Exile 1) - Not detecting NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M display adapter - Forum

I have a MSI GT70 laptop. It has two display adapters. One is an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, used in "windows mode". It is a low power display adapter for non-graphics intensive modes.
It also has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M for dames and intense 3D programs. All my other games detect the NVIDIA card properly. Path of Exile only detects the Intel display adapter. It seems to run the game ok, even with the video settings cranked up as far as it will let me. However I would like to use the correct display adapter while playing Path of Exile. How do I make the game detect the correct adapter?

When I run dxdiag it only shows the Intel adapter in the video section, but both are in the system devices section.
