Dual Wield mods question

I am sure this has been asked many times before but I did some wiki reading and didn't read much about this as there are many Uniques out there with different properties. If I dual wield them, do I get "double" the benefits?

For example, Hyaon's fury sword with 12% lightning damage per Frenzy. If I dual wield, do I get 24% per Frenzy?

If I have 7 stacks of frenzy, do I get 7% more damage taken or 14% more damage taken?

The +20 life per kill, do they stack?

I know some stack, some don't and that's the confusing part. Wish there is a wiki page that lists all the stuff that stack? What's the general rule of thumb?

Global ones will stack and local ones won't. The rule of thumb developers have given us is that - If it modifies a property that exists on a normal (white) version of the item class, then it is local. Otherwise, it is global.

Example:

All normal weapons have x-y physical damage as a base property. "X% increased physical damage" on a weapon will thus modify that x-y base physical damage locally (so it can't "double" the benefit when you dual wield).

In contrast no normal weapon has x-y lightning damage as a base property, so "x% increased Lightning Damage" on a weapon will be global (and you can thus stack those benefits by dual wielding).

The most confusing ones are the fact that ability-to-hit is a property of normal weapons - this causes flat accuracy (+x to accuracy rating) and on-hit effects ("Cast a Socketed Lightning Spell on Hit") to also be local.

===================

Let's apply this lesson to Hyaon's fury:

---"Lightning Damage per Frenzy" is not a property of normal weapons, so dual wielding will give you 24% per frenzy.

---"Damage Taken per Frenzy Charge" is not a property of normal weapons, so dual wielding will give you 14% more damage taken at 7 stacks.

---"Life on Kill" is not a property of normal weapons, so you will get +40 Life on Kill per Frenzy Charge if you dual wield Hyaon's.

Oh awesome thanks. So, white items don't have +critical chance right? So two will stack both +spell damage and +increased critical chance and +20% area right?
No. All white weapons have a base critical strike chance, so x% increased critical strike chance will increase that base critical strike chance, just like with x% increased physical damage applying to x-y physical damage.

For example the base critical strike chance of this weapon is 6%:

However, you are right that increased Spell Damage, increased Area Damage, and increased Area of Effect on a weapon will be global and stack if you dual wield!
