Path of building not working

Hope this is the right spot for this post.
Path of building keeps just not starting for me. I got a new computer with windows 10 a few weeks ago and ever since I installed it it has given me trouble. When I download it with the .zip or the installer it is fine for the first launch. After that if I close the program and re open it its just a black screen with a never ending loading circle for mouse. And it just doesn't respond. I have re installed it like 5 times and nothing has changed. Made sure everything was up to date and installed it in different locations and run as admin. Nothing fixes it. Anyone have any ideas? It's Windows 10 that is a foobar mess of an OS (even more so now). I run on Windows 7 Pro without any of the damn Meltdown or Spectre foobar OS patches and OS runs nice and fast. PoE and PoB run very well without problems. I'd recommend ditching Win10 in favor of Win7 any day (just turn off OS auto-update and skip all Meltdown/Spectre patches).

Appreciate the replies guys. I checked out that thread. Some things are similar but some people were having different issues. May try and check the nvidia thing out and make sure its launching with proper hardware.
When I start it, it just errors out black screen. The green mini box that pops up and shows whats updating/loading pops up. And as soon as it goes away its just black screen like the pictures in that thread. And it just doesn't respond. The reason I mentioned windows 10 was because I did have w7 before and had no issues with PoB. Still getting used to windows 10 but its nicer to tab out with and there are a few nicer things. Gonna keep looking into this. I just don't understand it because I just launched with leaving it for a day and it launched fine. |

Run it from a a command line, see if it craps out any errors. Also might want to check event viewer.
Make sure all of your directx and visual c runtimes are installed. HAIL SATAN!
