Is it possible for an item to disappear?

I traded for a Devotos Devotion helm a little while ago. Shortly after that I logged out, leaving the Devotos in my inventory and now it's gone. I checked my stash with a Devotos specific search and found nothing. It's just gone.

Nope. To this day, there has never been a proven case of an item disappearing unless there was an DC/Rollback.
Check your crafting benches on all your chars. |

Thanks for the response. I don't know that people try to master craft unique items other than Vorici. I hate to admit it but I think I may have mindlessly vendored it after a map run.
