But then likely GGG should switch the ladder not to be highest lvl based. But bosses killed, encounters done based maybe??? Or just some different metrics - achievement based?

Nugi didn't give up on 100, he did it this league, rank 5 SSFHC.
And in fairness, the nerf did coincide with a bunch density changes, so it's not like it made too huge a difference. Sure it'll never as easy as legacy league, but in an absolute min-max scenario (KB in a group chain farming 16 elder underground seas) you can literally do it in a couple days of hard farming. Problem is, not everyone can do that. As usual, the nerf didn't effect the people it was targeting, and instead fucked over the rest of us who just wanna play the game normally. That said, you can still get 100 pretty easily. You just need to shape for one specific map (usually underground sea) and just farm the shit out of it for a week or two. |
