You can acquire some wealth by just grinding, but acquiring a mirror is something so rare that I would never sell it. I would keep it as a trophy, you are a part of a very small group.

If Pemperos finds out he likes playing the challenge leagues only and won't be working any Standard league builds then the "Mirror as a trophy" is exactly what I would recommend too. If he is like me and after accumulating enough currency in standard league he want's to try pushing some builds toward 100 he may want the 100+ exalts to get some BiS items to make the 90s levels map grind far easier and faster.

Fellas. Life is short and I am not really young. I do not have infinite time to play this game. I am 33, i work 10 hours a day and I am soon to be married. I prefer to sell and spend like there is no tomorrow in this incursion league. I do not plan to play standard any time soon. Aren't leagues more interesting? (In d3 i always played seasons and in d2 only ladder anyway).


Any idea how much I can sell it for?

are all those mirrors for sale for 100 ex real or are they trying to lower the price to low-ball me?

A guy just offered me 96 ex for it but i think he was trying to rip me off.

Leagues are shorter (mostly). If you think that with your life you can get the most out of that mirror in less than 3 months and level everything you want to play.....


Or realize the reason most of us say keep it is something you have you can always sell later - once it's gone you may never see one again.

A lot of us folks played D2 ladder, but those seasons lasted so long you had plenty of time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. With a normal life, you're not gonna have a lot of time to try multiple builds at their power level before a league season ends.

Let's put it this way, if you find you really like the game, you'll always want to have at least one mirror, even if its in standard. Shag's got what, 5 years and just finally found one. As a newer player I'm guessing you just aren't grasping how rare they are.

I had maybe 4-5 exalts drop between beastiary/flashback (the last 3 month league). The first league I was in (abyss) I didn't see a single one. I have yet to see one in incursion as well. Given that one can go months without seeing an exalt, the fact that one can literally go years and never find a mirror really needs to be emphasized.

Can totally understand wanting to spend - but when you're learning you're bound to make mistakes. Having more to spend means you have a lot more to lose. If you really want to explore long term characters you'll want to be prepared to run standard league - having to start a brand new league over with absolutely no wealth every 3 months takes its toll.

Chaos:exa is awful in incursion right now, i think we see enough threads about that.

Selling a mirror for 100 exa in incursion while in standard it's over 250 exa... Mhh i would pass on that. Considering that all incursion characters will be dumped in standard in just a couple of months.

Also prices in incursion for items aren't that good. And it's not even a month it's out.

If I got a mirror drop I would possibly sell it like you suggested for the 107ex if someone will give you that much for it. Get a headhunter its about 40 to 50ex and is interchangeable between every build and can be worn at I think lv30 or 40 makes leveling a new character insanely quick. Then you would have 50ex or more left over in that situation just buy the best stuff for your build or try a new build maybe you couldn't have afforded before.

However if you do sell the mirror you probably will encounter boredom from the game as you won't need to work toward much else as you could just trade for it.

However what ever you do don't put yourself in the position to be scammed for the mirror or don't duplicate anything with it as most people waste it that way.

I seem to understand that he doesn't know if he will have "enough" time to play at the end of the league.
Considering how addicting is Poe, my 2 cents that he will still play after the end of the league.
If he will have few time to dedicate, it would be WAY easier to keep playing his actual character, already leveled up, and having 250+ exas in standard will be better than having just 107+.
