It used to be that there were several worthless mods which resulted in just a scrap...it was intended.(like taking a car to the scrap yard and expecting more than the scrap metal value because it's a car)
BUT i believe they changed it over a year ago to at least give 1 fragment instead. TBH you are not missing anything really. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi
