Tablets are definitely worth the money when it comes to drawing, especially if they can already draw with pencil/paper. Drawing with a mouse is not a fun experience, and much harder to learn than drawing on a tablet. I've always used Clip Studio Paint and my XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro Art Tablet . Drawing directly on the screen makes the workflow much faster and dynamic, on top of that, it's a lot more fun as well.
