Incursions and asset unpacking

Ok, everyone under the sun knows path of Exile is unoptimized. But this really becomes a massive issue aith Alva and incursions.

Whenever I come near Alva, the pre-unpacking of assets causes my rig to stop for 2 or seconds. That seems hyper excessive.

Ok, but it gets even better, since once I actually enter the incursion, it's hit or miss, 50/50 chance for the assets to unpack and I can play the game, or the servers are too fubar combined with my computer not unpacking all the assets that I lose the instance, half the time the art assets and esp the sound/oggs will not unpack before the cthka expires. My character model should NOT load until after the doo-dads, lava floe (wttf is this in the game??), and mobiles have been drawn.

I'm very seriously close to uninstalling.

If GGG is going to force a redonkulous idea such as a packed GGPK, then the extraction process needs to be orders of magnitude faster, consuming way less resources, and a fail-safe incase server hiccups de-sync the client from the unpacking process.

Like, honestly, why have these issues not been addressed?

This is 2018, why can the assets for all daughter areas not be loaded when the parent area is loaded?

This is seriously frustrating, and it only happens in this game. I can play other games flawlessly.
