Brutus dead but I can't advance

Hello,

I've seen that there is a known bug that sometimes Brutus will die but the quest won't advance. This has happened to me, and I have since tried waiting 15 minutes before re-entering Brutus's chambers to try and reset it to kill him again, but the area won't reset for me (the lower prison at least will reset, but the two areas above the upper prison (the part where Piety makes an appearance and Brutus's room) won't reset. CTRL + click on the entrances did not work for either.

Is there any way to fix this or do I need to wait to advance until a patch?

I'm just gonna ask this to be sure, have you tried logging out and back in again?

Yes, twice.

The waypoint for prisoner's gate is highlighted as if I activated it, but when I click on it, it says that the quest has not advanced yet.

Anyone know a way to fix?

For anyone finding this thread later with the same problem: I joined a party that killed Brutus and that did the trick.
