Fully cleared a temporal incursion, didn't find any Stone of Passage (suggestion inside)
So I killed all the monsters in the incursion room, and didn't find any Stone of Passage. I was even left with 15 seconds to look around, it was nowhere to be found. And no, I didn't pick it, I tried opening a door before the end.
I don't understand the logic of that Stone drop rate. Sometimes I drop it after a few pack kills, sometimes I only drop it on the last monster in the room. It's extremely frustrating. Here's a suggestion : why don't you remove the Stone of Passage drop/pick and just make it so you're allowed to open one door after half the room is killed (that would make some use of that meter bar at the bottom), and a second door opened if you kill everything in the room (fill the meter bar)? It would make the temporal incursions much more fluid and consistent. Last bumped on Jun 8, 2018, 6:56:39 PM

I like the stone drops, they should stay imo... makes it more exciting. But yes, it would be nice to have them as guaranteed drops and not completely RNG. In my opinion they should not drop from the architect, but if all mobs except the architect are killed, there should be at least 1 drop.

Personally you like GGG to remove the random stone drops and guarantee a single drop at fully cleared instead. But for that to work, the timer needs to be removed, otherwise... well it would lock out alot of builds and players.
Yes with a single stone there is a possibility that you wont link up with the apex, and thats fine. |

Was it confirmed by GGG that stone of passage can actual not drop if there are doors to be opened?
I do not recall any such case from my time in the temple. Granted I play Arc trapper, which means I have no issue clearing incursion very quickly. I had case where literally last standing monster in an instance has dropped the stone, in fact it happened several times. This leads me to believe the stone is always spawning on a monster within instance. I have encountered situation where stone of passage did not drop because all doors were already unlocked. This further leads me to believe stones are tied to actual status of the room and should always drop at least once if there are doors to be opened. *edited the text to add more info Last edited by Baron01#3047 on Jun 8, 2018, 7:31:49 AM

" Based on my experience there is 100% chance to drop at least one stone (if at least one door is locked) and small chance for more than one. I think it is more likely that op missed one mob (happend to me too,1game showed me that i fully cleared incursion while i was able to find single white mob roaming nerby) Last edited by karoollll2534#2874 on Jun 8, 2018, 7:32:01 AM

" This is the same experience I've had. Seeing people reporting things like no stone drops on full clears or any stone drops on incursions with no closed doors makes me feel like people are playing completely different games or something. For me it's always been 1-2 stones if there are doors to open and no stones if all doors are open. Last edited by dummyacct7#0565 on Jun 8, 2018, 6:53:07 PM

" Toss me on the "Stone Always Drops" boat... I can't help but feel like a broken record asking them "Did you check your loot filter?" I use my own homemade loot filter, and while using that filter, I can't remember a single time I've full cleared an Incursion with no stone drop. Guaranteed stone drop spawning on the Architect that flees is as good a guess as any as to why some people see full clears with no stone drop? But why would it happen so frequently for them?
