vaal impurity of fire + totems? vaal haste + totems?

1) does "nearby enemies fire resistance is ignored by hits" work with totems as well?

2) whats the range of vaal impurity of fire aura? how close do i have to stand at the enemy to affect it with the aura?

3) how does vaal haste interact with totems? does it apply on click or do i have to stand near the totems to apply it on the totems as well?

1. If the totem is hitting an enemy affected by vaal impurity of fire it will ignore it's fire resistance.

2. The radius is around the same as purity of fire at lvl 20.

3. Totems use your offensive stats, as long as you are affected by vaal haste, your totems are as well.

1. Yes, your totems are your allies.

2. The radius is 20 at lvl 20, this visualisation should give you a rough idea:

3. Once Vaal Impurtity of Fire is active on you it is also active on your totems if they are within the radius (i.e. they will be immune to Ignites). In order to knock off the enemy's fire resistance the enemy must be within your radius (not the totems' radius)

However, "ignoring fire resistance" can be counterproductive because "negative resistance" (to which there is no bottom cap) caused by equilibrium, penetration and flammability will be equally ignored.

so flammability and penetration will just be ignored, but wont cause less dmg, right?

so as soon as the aura expires flammability and penetration work again, right?

Yes. Most map bosses have 40% res, so if you negate that with penetration and flammability anyway, then Impurity doesn't do you much good.
ok ty
Don't forget that if you lower an enemy's resistance to be lower than 0, that ignoring its resistances will actually be bad for you.

you mean coz i lose dmg potential?
Yes, what I said... when you can get the enemy's fire resistance into the negative anyway (by way of equilibrium, penetration, curse) then "ignoring fire resistance" is actually counterproductive as it will be zero rather than negative.
ah ok! finally i understand what u mean!!

u dont get the negative res coz with vaal impurity of fire its always zero even if it could be -20 for example. so u could even lose dmg with this aura if u have enough penetration
