Question about Temple

Hi.
Does Temple of Atzoatl resets after killing boss and i can clear 11 rooms again? Last bumped on Jun 4, 2018, 6:31:24 PM

You don't even have to kill the boss. Let Alva open her portals to the temple, hop in and out, and the next time you meet her, she will give you a new set of Incursions to complete and a new temple to build.

" I think you are confusing the temporal incursions with the temple of Atzoatl itself. The first few times you meet Alva, she sends you on a short incursion into the past. The incursion happens inside a small room (3-4 screens), and has a strict time limit to complete. During the incursion, you can affect which rooms will be built in the actual temple (by killing the Architects) and the way these rooms connect (by collecting Stones of Passage and opening doors within the incursion). After you completed 11 consecutive incursions, Alva will open six portals leading to the temple of Atzoatl itself. This temple is a massive area consisting of many interconnected rooms, and there is no time limit - you can explore for as long as you want. Depending on your success during the incursions, the temple will have various encounters, rooms, treasures, and possibly a path to the Omnitect - the final boss. Once you enter the main temple, the "cycle" of incursions is reset - regardless of whether you kill the Omnitect or not. Remember that there might not be any path to the boss at all if you did not set it up during the incursions. I assume completing these incursions if for super powered characters and very fast players.
The rest of us might get an architect or two ... in 11 runs. I kind of like the new mechanic but the time limit is too short. I could see it being longer for HC but for regular ... needs some way for the poor smucks playing to extend the time or something else so we at least have a chance to finish one. very sad I suck at that :( and sort of discourage. On the other hand I can just play the game and ignore the incursion part. |

Nobody gets born poor or rich into a league. Everybody starts the league from the same point - from zero. Where you go from there is entirely up to you. If your character feels too weak - change it. You are not stuck with playing one class or one build forever. If something doesn't work, try doing something else!
I am pretty much the definition of a casual player. I have barely started mapping in Incursion, and the only item I have bought so far was a 20% quality skill gem for my main skill. Everything else I have I have found or crafted myself in the last four days. Rich or poor has nothing to do with it. I had some problems at the start as well; but now that I have gotten familiar with the layouts and mechanics I can fully clear the incursion, kill the architect I want, and open the door I want almost every single time with 10-20 seconds to spare. Leagues are the greatest equalizer, especially this early into one. If one person can do it, everybody can do it too. No character has any intrinsic power except for that you give them yourself. " How in the world do you have 10-20 secs to spare? My timed runs are only 15 secs and that most of the time runs out right with one kill of the architect. I have never had any more time to do anything else. and I have run 4 of the full 6 portal temples with never anything in them but the same old drops as the rest of the contect. I have only come across one stone key thing in this entire time. That time I had just picked it up when the time ran out. How are you getting so much time? And in the previous quote you replied to when the guy said us poor old schmucks he did not literally mean poor as in wealth but poor as in playing ability. |
