Vaal Blade Vortex

About the new Vaal Blade Vortex, everything on the gem is already based on you have 10 blades and won't get any more bonus right? I'm guessing it is since it would be overpowered as hell otherwise but just wanted to check.

From what I see the 369 to 554 phys damage is for each blade just like normal blade vortex, but you have to remember that you need to get 30 souls before using it and once you have used it you are unable to get more souls for 5 seconds, so there is with good clear speed I would say around 7-10 seconds between each cast.

Well, since Blade Vortex changed a little while ago you don't actually get a flat damage per blade anymore, you only get faster hit rate and more damage multiplier which the vaal version of the skill says nothing about. It also states that it has 10 blades which is the reason I thought it might already been included though it could just be so you'll always cast it at max blades.

And a 350% more multiplier and 350% increased hit rate when the skill already does 3x the damage and has a base hit rate of 0.13s(which is like 4.6x faster) makes it roughly 14x stronger than your base vortes which is pretty bonkers. But hey, if you do get it I'll definitely try it out.

Had another look at it, seems that it might be as you say, might be 369 to 554 phys damage every 0.13 seconds with a 3 times larger radius than the normal BV.

On a side note was looking at the skill gem release and noticed that all the Vaal gems also say unidentified, now I'm curious is this just a things with the gems on that page or something else.
