The Rotting Core fight unable to get to Lilly/Weylam because Lightning Warp

Using a Poet's Pen lightning warp in off hand, I continued attacking during the animation, was left in the boss fight room unable to get to Lilly/Weylam as lightning warp teleported me back from the item drop location.
