Chase items are vital to a game like this. Without them, there's eventually no carrot on the stick that keeps us playing. Keep looking for that prophecy. Hope it comes up every time you spend one of those silver coins. It can happen. Will it? Probably never. But it can. There's hope. The price you pay for hope is that sometimes you're disappointed.

i found one in chaos sanct including screenshot! but my friends didnt believe me...you are right.
this moment i will never forget!
The problem with Atziri's reflection is that it is not worthy of its rarity. Its not a game changing item like HH or hell even pre ES nerf Shavs. The damn thing doesnt even have life on it.

It's best in slot for one build and that is Soul Mantle totems. And even then its just a QoL improvement and at best a 250% increased DPS item. Dont get me wrong 250% is good. But not 10 mirrors good.

Comparing this item to what a zod rune gave you in a BOTD is a poor analogy too. Any melee in D2 could stick an EBOTD on the character and become a god. If you stick this item on anything but a soul mantle totems build it gets to ignore map curses. Yay.
Really don't think something this rare counts as a chase, IMO you have to have a conceivable chance of getting an item for it to actually constitute a chase.

The drop rate needs tweaking it could be 10x as common and it'd still be extremely rare.

Market?

They are rare sure, but still, one of my guildies got the prophecy for it, and two people on my friends list did also. They did not sell them however, and I expect quite a few others didn't either. A lot of us who have played a bit collect all the things.

Kind of doubt you know 3 people who dropped this item. Thats pretty far fetched.
Thus it begins. See? You can't make claims like that, even if true. People just wont believe you. You're branded as a liar even though you told the truth... maybe. Enough people got their knickers in a twist over it that they simply ruled that no one could post claims like that.
Its not really rarer. Its just that there are a lot more peoples killing monsters than there are seeking prophecies.

Zod was the only rune in the top 5 I ever found though :(

I played closed battle.net though, not single-player.
