can't complete map objective

There are 0 monsters remaining in my desert map, but the objective on the atlas is not completed. I can't kill a boss thats already dead.I'm not THAT good of a necromancer.

Did you use a War for the Atlas series map? I don't think older map series count towards completion.

nope, i burned all the old maps ages ago, it was a map i had just bought from zana.

You need to activate a particular object in the map to trigger the boss encounter. The wiki has a video if you're having problems finding it.
