New player and full stash, what to keep/sell

i get the feeling your putting trash in your stash, you shouldn't even pickup blue equipment unless its first character early league with no alternatives, rare loot (yellow) you should check to see if its an upgrade or useful for another character but if not just sell it, alterations are more valuable than keeping the items.

When your leveling an item has to be really exceptional to be worth keeping to actually trade, because we level so fast it isn't really worthwhile keeping anything "great"

Basically vendor the lot!

Most (95%+) of blue (magic) and gold (rare) items are vendor trash. Meaning that almost all of it should be sold for alts/alcs rather then hoarding it.

Unless you specifically see a stat(s) that improves your build. Like high life or a blue/gold item that has high resists or all resists.

Most though is not worth keeping and your better off building up currency.

Thank you! that makes a lot of sense

Thank you! I will try that
Judging by your character is level 30 - sell everything.
From what I see, you play "standard". In this case, you can leave practically everything you have and sell what you do not need, when you are better acquainted with the game. "Stash cleaning" is necessary for players playing in the league (like Bestiary now). If you do not "clean up" the stash after each league in which you played, in the standard (where you are currently playing) you will have such a mess that after a few leagues you will create a new account (because you will not want to clean up). For example, in the "standard" I have about 30 tabs, of which almost half is "remove only", almost all filled with some trash, which I will not sell, because "maybe I will use it in future, for some experimental build".

In conlusion - untill you are in standard, your stash is "safe" :)
You have been placed on probation for: ● Make hateful or needlessly negative comments ● Personally attack or cause harm to the reputation of others ● Antagonise others in an obnoxious manner ●
Sell every equipment blue and yellow. Then check the prizes in poetrade for the uniques.... in the end you will just sell everything, because you will see that all crap anyway xD
Brand new to the game, and this is all good info lol
Coming from Diablo 3, and I was just holding everything off the bat 😂

Pretty much the title, my stash is currently full so I really don't know what to keep and sell
Thank you for the help!

The best PoE advice line I ever read on the subject went like this (paraphrased):

"If you think you might use it, you won't - Sell it."

That being said, it's nice to have a few fall-back items if you have min/max your stats. So, I'll add:

"If it's a really nice rare piece of jewelry, a belt, or one of the "four-square" armor bits, hold onto it for awhile, just in case, but quickly get rid of it after you level past it."

And,

"Check your uniques against one of the trading sites and check what it's going for in the current market. If it's a piece of crap, save it for awhile to vendor with the Unique recipe/prophesy and/or vendor it when you need the space for something better."

Lastly:

"Plan your items around your most significant main item, usually your chest or a two-hander and only keep inventory strictly focused on that purpose. You won't be changing that special item and everything revolves around that. Dump anything that does not comply - You won't be using it."

I came from Diablo 3 and was amazed at our stash space, coming from a game with a notoriously tiny little chest to stuff crap in... So, just like all D3'ers, I had to break the habit of "collecting anything that looked cool." I haven't been entirely successful, but I am getting better.

PS - I'm only playing non-Standard Leagues right now, coming from D3's "Seasons," so I don't have to worry too much about "accumulation." Though, I'm sure my "Standard" stash is stuffe with withdraw-only pages.
