When is "low on life"?
" The fact is you cannot do 50% life based builds without utilizing another form of buffer. Currently my tree has about 85+- points spend, my life value is at 1890, i go low life for a value of 420(yes i blaze it) and my ES buffer is at around 4200es. This is with 900 armor since its basically impossible to gain armor with a build like this. With all this invested in my build, i can still get one-shot by chaos damage that was recently added to the game. Before this change i was safe. I think they meant for low life bonuses to be random situation based advantages, but it is fairly obvious nobody is utilizing them in that fashion. Lowering the low life bonus value's and upping the low-life value to half-life value would create more hybrid builds. Not to mention making them viable in a endgame hardcore setting. Which currently, if you don't have shavs, they are not. It's sad to see one of the most skill based builds being gated behind a unique that totally nullify the skill associated with the build. Not to mention the balance being around this one unique that trivializes low-life. Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes Last edited by Boem#2861 on Jan 14, 2014, 9:06:01 AM

The "Low Life" mods were good in theory, but noone wants to spend resources on something you are getting a fraction of the time when you could just spend the resources to keep yourself from getting low in the first place. Of course people will attempt to make the effects permanent!
I am also a no Shavs Low-Lifer and I have to skip all Chaos bosses. Kinda sucks, because I never intended to use Shavronne's but have no other options. At least with a 50% bar on low life, I could cancel enough auras to maybe take a hit from Alal at Dominus so I can farm him. Last edited by Terrornoid#4502 on Jan 14, 2014, 12:27:55 PM
