The wiki says: " Like other similar effects, this aura comes from the item so it won't be affected by any of the player's aura bonuses, however, the effects will stack with other party members also equipped with Leer Cast. The effect "You and nearby allies gain 15% increased Damage" is not a skill, and thus cannot be supported by support gems. (Try putting Generosity into the helmet.) Almost all aura-specific bonuses are either worded as "Aura Skills" or "Auras you Cast" (). The effect of Leer Cast is neither. Even if it was, your own modifiers do not affect your minions anyway.
