Shav's "why are you so ugly?!" best line. Cracked me up the first time i heard it.

Ranger's is the absolute worst, though. So much of her dialogue is just so dumb. They reeeeally went overboard with the stereotype on that one.

So which do you actually like?

The Witch is probably my favorite. Lots of snarky little jabs. Love her prissy delivery too. "Too. Much. Clutter."

Duelist is also really good. One of my favorite moments of PoE was when I dinged lvl 100 on a yellow mob and the duelist was like, "I do love the stink of victory!"

Marauder is also pretty damn badass. Lots of lore references to his gods and I like his strong stoic personality. "There's no blacker magic than death, witch."

Oni's dialogue is pretty good too. Quite snarky, just like the Witch. "Amazing what removing a heretical whore can do to the sanctity of a place."

Those are probably the only ones I really like. Scion and Templar are pretty good, but not my favorites, and the Shadow and Ranger...yeah.

The Ranger comes across as just dumb as shit. "Why do we insist on building mountains? Why not just climb them?" I mean, holy fuck. Almost as bad as: "A lake drained, a million creatures lost. Just so Sarn could keep it's privvy's flowing." She's literally suggesting a lake is more important than functional plumming ffs. It's just so out of touch that it's impossible not to be annoyed by it. I mean, I get her point, but the way she phrases it makes her seem like some insane radical nature lover who wants every city in existence torn down so the jungle can roam free. She does have a couple decent lines, though. "I hate to pluck a pretty flower--even a poisonous one like you." That one's kind of clever.

The Shadow's dialogue is mostly fine, it's just his delivery that's kind of annoying imo.

My favorite POE line is...

"Now my young brother, the time has come to assume your TRUE form, arise Diablo, Lord of Terror".

It sends shivers down my spine every time to this day, when that cut scene happens here, right after we fight the scary koala's and watch Silk try to breed with a spider.

Yeah i think with bringing Gods into Wreclast GGG made a lot of fuck up with lore integrity. Thats why we could use some info that those who are here are not actuall gods but some sort of parasites that waant to controll characters reality. And this we could get from updated Masters for example. And it also give some interesting opportunities for further expansions.

Similar would be Vaga talking about beeing in Oriath while actually beeing there.

Also i really like scion as character but i hate her dialogue lines - she seems to be this little scared girl to fragile for what is happening but enduring it. It has some idea behind it but overall final effect is similar to my reaction to Shinji from NGE - "oh im so in pain and suffering because i have to pilot giant robot". Crybaby without clear charater development.

What i like.

I liked Shadow lines. Killing Oak was kinda lol moment for me. But in some other situations he seems to be a little edgy, kinda like butcher attitude. Considering his "line of the job" it is logic but i dont like psychopaths so not all his dialogues i like.

Tried Ranger, never get to end game. Dont remember a thing.
Tried Marauder - same result as with Ranger.
Tried Templar - oh shit no pants just made me to hate this character, so end was similar as above.
Dunno if i try Witch, any good BV build for her?
Duelist was my very first character, but it was long ago so im guessing that has changed. Dont really want to back to this character.

I really like most of the OG lines, with some exeptions.

And my favourited, the favourited lines are from Utula. Oh man that voice acting and all final effect - this is the only charater i listen all lines without interrupting. Has such potential, it should be used again IMHO maby as some kind of Avatar of those parasites that are trying to invade PoE reality? Elder could be related to this also.

Yeah because todays world is very disturbed place and many people dont know the Self. So they see something pathological (PathOfExical?) as normal and attractive. Obsession from other beeing is some kind of attention and most of the people looks for that - attention. Not healthy at all. Especially considering that OG is actually fictional but not gotta touch this shit. There are some charaters i really like in general but they are constructed very well, like Guts from Berserk but talking in terms "waifu" well.... <facepalm>.

Not just today's. This has always been a lever with certain people. And the source character for OG is well aware of this one.

I maent modern "west" world. Because 50 years ago those things looked a rather differently.
