Hidden Vaal Pathways procced in Doedre's Cesspool but no vaal entrance appeared

I entered Doedre's Cesspool on a high level character in Bestiary and the Hidden Vaal Pathways prophesy procced, but there was no vaal zone I could enter, probably because the zone is so small.
