Any way to get free points?

A mule account is your best bet. When I started playing this game I was using a 10+ year old computer. I was able to trade between mule accounts. I just had to fresh boot and make sure nothing else was running. Opening a second POE was VERY slow, but I could do it. Also, sometimes it took a few tries to get both characters logged at the same time. This gives you 24 more character slots, and 4 tabs.

Just a note on mule accounts. You need at least one character at level 25 to trade currency or uniques. Your mule can receive them, but not trade them back until you reach level 25.

If your computer really won't handle two instances of POE running, maybe get a friend to create an account. Even if they don't want to play they can create an account a mule account for you.

Unfortunately my PC barely runs only the one client, and I have to close apps because otherwise it crashes due to low memory, and I certainly do not have any friends who play POH. Others, especially those few who I trust, aren't going to waste half an hour a day transferring items, unfortunately. That is indeed a good idea, but unfortunately I do not know anyone like that. I know 2 people who I'd trust, and one is busy with his family and gaming what he enjoys, another didn't even do me a favor that would've taken less than five minutes. Others on my Steam list, they are just random people I don't even know, and none of them are playing Path of Exile. Oh, well, one more guy, but he is also quite busy with real-life things. I know one more guy who I trust, but he's always pissed off at the whole world and feels entitled to everything and goes on rants about how he deserves this or that, so that's not really the person to ask of anything. If you do ask for something, he gets very defensive and values everything in cash...

Thank you for good ideas though, the friend part is actually something I have not thought of yet. :)

Today so far I've spent around 2 hours sorting my things and I still don't have a fully free inventory (not even tabs), but I should soon have maybe two inventories worth of space total in another hour or so, so that should be enough for the rest of the day maybe. I really don't know how long I'll keep that up, lol. Possibly until I complete the first atlas map, because I'm really curious to find out what it is about, I just completed epilogue!
