Abyssus Nerf (1/3 BIG MINUS)
|
I was back to game 10 days ago after a year of break making 2 new characters on Bestary League . leveling them and now when time to wear them I am looking for abyssus and.... what a bad surprise abyssus critcal strike multiplier was nerfed by almost 50% - I first time in this game fell like get a hard hit in face because I always play with low life characters (4-5,5k of life) with abyssus which is very important in my builds...So I can say The FEELING when I see this castrated Abyssus in poetrade was same as many times in Diablo III when developers destroying my gameplay, everything what is mandatory for me and destroying my builds by nerfing, changing, even removing and deleting items from my stash instead of upgrading or adding new elements making my builds useless...
Guys dont do that!! I spend too much time in this game to leave it now!! I want old Abyssus back !!! Add him as a shaped one or something but he must back as it is one of mandatory items for many players in their builds...I dont want current "castrate" for 1 chaos but full power older version...Also current "(40-50)% increased Physical Damage taken" is a big mistake in compare to only 100-125% multiplier - This item is not worth anything now... FIRST AND BIG DISADVANTAGE for Grinding Gear Games from Me (2 more and I say Good Bye) because I really hate when someone destroying my builds or changing way I want build my characters...Because I back 10 days ago I dont't have info about changes and I was unable to buy few of old versions for future use... I really want old versions back somehow... Also current one if multiplier is nefed increased physical damage taken also should be nerfed at same percentage value... Now I stay with only 2 old helmets one with 225cd/46ipht and 216cd/41ipdt...Its sad really sad... It used to be 100-150, but then they buffed it. The nerf was basically just undoing the buff.
I think they should have tried to find a middle-ground though. Obviously 225% crit multi was too much. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

The current abyssus is still pretty good on juggernaut which was buffed recently. You can mitigate the increased damage taken quite easily and also be very tanky against physical damage.

The damage taken my as well be 40% less life basically lol

" From what I remember (and on some days I don't remember how old I am), the initial "buff" was only to keep it to the same values it had prior, due to the change in how multipliers were calculated. It's always been strong, but there was no buff. |

Thanks for the correction!

Here you go, +230% crit multiplier plus culling strike. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" - Edmund Burke

" Sure, but 40% LESS crit chance. It's almost halves all your critting capability, so this item isn't OP, even isn't powerfull. |
|
" With enough crit investment and diamond flasks you can still have great crit chance. Just with this amulet your crits deal 3 times more damage, that pretty good in my book :) "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" - Edmund Burke Last edited by Toshis8#1464 on Apr 13, 2018, 3:56:35 AM

" How on earth can you expect everything to be the same after a year away??? PoE does, and have always done, change quite a lot when a new league starts. New mechanics and items inevitable means that old ones will have to be adjusted. Instead of being locked into the 'I must play MY build' mindset, adapt and explore new build options! It's much more fun! |
