Noob Question (Sextants)

Fairy new to the game, and have never been able to figure out how to use multiple sextants on the Atlas. I understand sextants and what they are used for, however as soon as I use one, if I want to add another on the atlas, all it does is replace the first one? I've never been successfully able to get more than 1 sextant on the atlas. Again, probably very simple answer, I just have no idea. This applies for All tiers. I can place a Master sextant on one end of the atlas, and then use an apprentice on the other side of the atlas, and the Master sextant disappears? Please help! Thanks

It works as intended.

Map and Atlas Balance
There is now a limit to the number of Sextants you can apply to your Atlas. The base maximum is 1, but this limit is increased by completing bonus objectives and Zana's quests, up to an absolute maximum of 5. Adding Sextants above this limit removes the oldest one. Existing Atlases will keep their Sextants, though applying new Sextants will still remove the oldest one. You can see which Map has the oldest Sextant by hovering over the new Sextant display on your Atlas.
