Vaal Pact and Life Leech Rate

I'm nearbouts dat area of the Duelist tree. Path of Building doesn't give me any obvious feedback but does the increased life leech rate improve vaal pact? Sorry but I've never taken Vaal Pact before because I knew it was OP but now since they nerfed it I figured I'd give it a shot ;)

Yes, it makes you reach your leech cap in fewer hits, the new VP also doubles the effect of this stat.

I think he had it right. What he was saying is that if I increase my life leech rate, then Vaal Pact will double the increase of the increase, not only the base leech rate. So there is synergy between Vaal Pact and the Duelist area's leech nodes.
