Why do people sell uniques for 1 chrome or jeweller when vendor recipe gives you almost half alch?

Hilariously dark.

OP: to help players who need leveling uniques.

Trolls who never respond. I learned my lesson, will never trade for something that costs less than a chaos.

I was trying to tell someone I needed a lil time to finish up a trial - ended up messaging a previous buyer of something else instead. Once we both realized what was going on we laughed it off - that's usually as extensive as that "human interaction" goes for me.

More often than not I'm getting annoyed some random player is treating me like a vendor bot instead of as another player who had the courtesy to respond and sell them something they need. It just gives me the sense that they're super self-centered and would be fighting an urge to punch them in the face.

As for original topic - part of it is courtesy for the folks leveling up - the other part is simply not wanting to just throw away something you bothered to pick up and store in the first place.

Sure you can get something cheap - but you'll have to find someone at their convenience. Catch them in their hideout you're probably in luck - but its hard to motivate folks to drop what they're doing over something so little.
Yep, totally over league play.

because selling space is precious for the non-supporting part of the community they need to sell fast. which makes them lower prices all the time.

additionally, people have selling tabs which they reprice every day until they vendor the content. 1 alch is the last step before vendoring for most.
when repricing, it's a waste of time to dig out the uniques for some small gain.

your logic is off bro, if you are worried about space you vendor it immediately. Im with op, anything short of chisel or fuse makes it not worth it.
