Deal with bandits reward
|
Hi there, I'm totally new here. Quesiton about Deal with bandits quest. Should I help one of them or just kill all and take 2 passive skill points. I know it depends on build. I would like to make tornado build ranger.
Thanks for help! Last bumped on Mar 26, 2018, 4:35:04 AM

Probably help Kraityn will be your best bet. Attack speed, movespeed and dodge will all help your build, so it's probably better than 2 passive points. Also as a new player you probably won't spend the 2pts so well anyway.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

" Helping Kraityn gives a well-rounded set of rewards, all of which being helpful for most Ranger builds. As the previous poster said, this is probably your best bet. Helping Alira can be a good alternative if your build is heavily geared towards critical strikes. The resistance bonuses can also be helpful if you have crappy gear, but you can usually buy gear with decent resistances cheaply from other players. And at the stage of the game you're currently in, you don't have to worry much about resistances - just keep a good ruby / sapphire / topaz ring ready to put on against specific enemies, and you'll be fine. Helping Oak _will_ increase your damage if you're focusing on physical damage, but isn't going to do much for you otherwise. It's unlikely to be a good choice for Ranger builds. Killing all bandits is the most flexible reward, but probably also the least useful for you. Take a look at the skill tree and check if there is a node in reach that would help your build a lot. Usually this is not the case, because the good nodes are always spaced apart, so you're rarely in a situation where the two skill points will get you something that's comparable to the other rewards. Keep in mind that you can change to a different reward whenever you want to, if you can pay the price (20 orbs of regret plus an amulet). It's not exactly cheap, but perfectly doable once you reached the later stages of the game. Last edited by Psyringe#7951 on Mar 26, 2018, 4:38:41 AM
