Looking for a build suiting the Scholar Pack

You might think that I am weird but I like to make character suiting the armor theme that I use and I'm not sure about the scholar one.

Is there any cheap build to play that use lightning skill and melee weapons ? I already have a main farming build this one would just be played like an alt and won't be doing high end content.

Any advice would be apreaciated.

There is some nice interaction between Static Strike and Ancestral Call (builds static charges three times as fast potentially), but a lot of people don't like Static Strike, because you have to hit something and can't just swing in midair.

Maybe a crit staff build with Hegemony's Era could work.

An idea I'm intending to pursue at some point is actually Scholar (booky) armor, Arcane Tome totem skin, then Dark Pact Totem Spam on Hierophant. With Arcane Wither as a utility skill to blue it up, could be close to what you're looking for, if you're willing to tolerate purple Dark Pacts, anyways.

If not, could always do Arc totems or Storm Call or such instead. I just like Arcane Tome totems with Scholar armor.
