Beastcrafting 30% quality on weapon

I just found the recipe to put 30% quality on a weapon, but how do I kill the monsters that spawn if i have to put my weapon in the altar ?

Yeah i was afraid that was the way to do it, Only have one char. Guess I have to buy a cheap weapon and a tabula and go for it, thx for the quick reply :)
