You should "farm" all the maps, instead of trying to focus on one single map forever. They are all roughly as rewarding as each other in terms of both XP and drops per unit time, so it doesn't matter where you run. Might be worth chasing shaper and elder influence around for the extra stuff they give.

Terrible advice. There’s a wide difference in xp per hour, mob density, and layout. The shaper/elder influence can be rigged to permanently toggle on a particular map or you can even set up permanent elder if the boss spawns favorably. Sextants still favor running a single map because they still cost currency and you want to maximize the value you get out of them by using them on a good tile set. The cherry on top for running a single map is that you never have to think about what map to run next so you have less downtime between map runs.

I’m not sure what the best map is for farming now. I shaped underground sea because the density and total mob count is insane and my build basically clears it in similar time to other maps.

Excellent. Can you please link to ... well, honestly, to any set of data we can use to see what the XP per hour, mob density, and layouts of the maps are?

That would turn your comment into a useful contribution, rather than what looks to be your personal opinion, provided stand-alone without proof, as you actually have no evidence of any sort, just guesswork and picking patterns that don't exist out of random numbers.

So, when you apply a sextant, run maps in that area of influence three times before you apply another sextant that will remove it? I honestly didn't think I needed to give such basic advice as "use sextants in a way that doesn't defeat their purpose."
Some map loot nothing really interisting (unique + div) and are terrible to run (so they are just to skip for me who want to farm currency)..

Some loot good div and are really cool and fast to farm ..

I have already farmed all the map some season before and it was a waste of time when you can do good maps and sustain + make profit

edit : Sorry for my english guys
