[Solved] Lag Spikes [WinMTR]

OS: Windows 10 v 1709

The moment a lag spiked appeared the "worst" value went up to 1124. This occurs between 1 and 3 times during a Blood Aquaduct speedrun so it happens A LOT. F1 ingame also registers the spikes. Happens on London and Amsterdam and Paris and Moscow servers.

Interestingly, using WinMTR to trace to London doesn not work at all: https://i.imgur.com/MKqG5CQ.png No nodes visible at all...

EDIT: tried different PC. Did traceroute on Linux to par.login.pathofexile.com and it gave the SAME spikes as on Windows. On Linux I was able to see all nodes but they all report the same spikes.

EDIT2: Tried different servers. Paris, London, Amsterdam. But all have the same problem. Even worse, I did a traceroute on Linux to the Amsterdam server while I was playing at the Paris one and when the game got lag-spikes, so did the traceroute to Amsterdam. So the problematic node is sadly really close by... The only thing left to try would be a VPN I guess but because the problematic node is so close by I don't think it will work.

arrrggghh. arrrrggghhh.

De Lag boss, de lag be vicious.
Another one: Activation failed. Unable to open portals to area.

bug #: 1.785.250.014
I had lag spikes up to 15k on US last night.
My record is 3400. But I have them every few minutes. Impossible to do endgame content reliably. Impossible to do UberLab...

I solved it! It was not GGG. It was my ISP. After doing some more checks I found out that I had a packetloss to google and other sites as well. Not just to PoE. So after a few hours of blablabla with my ISP, they actually solved it! Best ISP ever.
