High latency/ping: is Steam having problem? or POE itself?

It just started today. I keep on logging on but POE is logging me out. I press f1 and it tells me i have like 1200 ping. My internet is fine. I'm even playing league of legends without lag. Does steam have to do with it? or is it because everyone is on the standard league?

Did you try another gateway?

Steam wouldn't change your ping in PoE unless it was downloading a game or an update to a game and you play on lockstep, but that has nothing to do with Steam.

Better served by posting in Tech Support forum. Also better served with including a WinMTR traceroute, etc.
