If vortex dome has +3 crit chance, decent enchant and w/o increased aoe, i would mirror it.
so sad

It makes no sense to neglect the AoE, it's the only thing that makes it ridiculous while mapping.
With this helmet you delete everything in this game, including T15 Elder, Shaper, Guardians, Hall of Grandmasters.

Why would you deliberately worsen your gear when it is not necessary?
Yeah, +3% crit would be awesome, but I didn't found one for sale in Abyss and you have no idea how much chaos it would need on average to roll all 3 perfect suffixes ...

Yes you do have GC as an enchant on vortex which isn't completely wasted, this is definitely not the #1 mine helmet

i see better for as little as 12 exalts on std without an enchant

imo you would have better luck selling it as is for 50-100ex or metacrafting the prefixes

i am taking the time to point this out because the vast majority of POE players do not understand elder shaper mods yet and those silly youtubers and streamers are just as clueless

Please enlighten me, show me a better GC helmet and keep in mind - I can wear Kaom's Heart with this one - so please don't post some random helmet with Place Additional Mine + 3% Crit only.

I didn't see one yet. Long Winter is excellent, more AoE is excellent. (it is what makes Glacial Cascade a thousand times better than any other mine skill)

People just don't understand that the AoE on the Cascades overlap and that big AoE actually feels better and probably also does more damage because you don't have to stay at exactly that one pixel to get all 3 Cascades on a boss ... instead you can just stay anywhere and always get around 3-5 Cascades.
