Quick-Logout feature?

It serves a very real purpose. It keeps the game from being "work at it until you get to level 100 and then we'll talk..." like games with a reachable hard cap. The soft cap keep people motivated to level without penalizing them if they don't. Remove the penalty and it's just a boring grind to 100.

" Yeah, just like everything else. If /they/ wanted it, they would have.. Not because people keep being toxic and don't ever want anything to improve.. Just like how PoE-Trade ItemStat macro was recently added into the core game because they finally realized it was stupid not to have such a quality of life feature... Laughable, really. That people think the game still can't improve or add new good stuff. It's because of a simple mindset. People bashing people asking for a common sense feature update. Small, small, small patch. Massive quality of life. Why not? It literally makes no sense as to why it hasn't already been added. It's a big demotivator for people that want to get into hardcore.. having to run third party scripts? Wtf? Begs the question, why would such a thing even be needed? And how can it be allowed??? MIND BOGGLING!!!!!! I feel it also just motivates people to learn the tiniest bit of scripting, and boom, suddenly you've got people using flask scripts which seem so harmless in comparison (not the type that does it for you, just uses all the flasks in 1 button), but to most peoples surprise, they arent actually allowed.. and that gets them into trouble.. It's one of the first things I learnt in this game, and I'm still confused about it. How can you allow obviously advantageous scripts to be basically mandatory, but a quality of life, sometimes medically required script, not? Some people have disabilities, like carpal tunnel and RSI... Though I have heard stories of these cases, where people get unbanned because of such things.. still an ordeal to go through, lol. We all know the game might aswell be called Path of Flasks, but the quality of life for a one button-use all flasks would be massive... not really a big deal, but it's fair enough to not allow it. But then I'd argue that NO scripts should be allowed. At all. If they don't want to add a quick logout macro.. how about they FIX the underlying issue, which is the fact that logging out serves a purpose at all. Don't start a fight you can't win. Either play hardcore like a man, or don't play it at all. Goddamn wussy script kids. If they don't want to enable a logout timer to avoid this shit, people will keep building glass cannon speed meta builds that can survive the occasional big hit and just quick log whenever something triggers your spider senses. This isn't hardcore. It's wusscore. It's like having quicksaves in any other HC game almost... HC isn't as much skill based as it is a question of "do you have a logout script or no" I just recently died on my way to level 90 in HC SSF at I think level 83, progressing into T6's? This was a character before I knew anything about the game.. I had 3K life and 3K es.. not knowing chaos went through ES. Of course I now know it, and still managed to die because I just said fuck it.. Silly decision of course :D Just rushing to get the achievement, and it was all my fault obviously. I could have avoided it by cheating with a logout macro, maybe even with inhuman reaction time have opened my inventory and clicked the portal and clicked it to go back into town.. BUT EVEN THAT, has a bigger delay than a logout macro. But alas, I am neither a cheater, nor a robot. And I accept it. Other HC players should too. Add a logout button so anyone can cheat ethically, or add a logout timer so no one can. Or just ban all scripts all together. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. " This is pretty much how I feel. Apparently it's not getting much traction though, no idea why. I guess people are scared of the tiniest changes even if it's for the greater good. *it kind of reminds me of Americans and their guns.
