Spectral Shield Throw

I have some questions about the upcoming skill gem and I was wondering if I could have them cleared up.

Mostly I'm wondering if facebreakers work with the skill since the wording is a bit ambiguous but I was also wondering if the skill took the weapons attack speed, or it just uses the base attack speed regardless of the weapon.

Bex also states base attack speed is 1.2

Mostly going off memory since I haven't played in a while but isn't facebreaker melee damage bonus and shield throw projectile? Up to this point you could not have a hit deal both melee and projectile damage and that probably hasn't changed

(Obviously you can have a skill that deals melee hits and projectile hits, and you can have increased damage with melee weapons apply to projectiles - but neither of those things match this circumstance)
