Death's Opus build?

I have a 50/125/16-35 6L opus (4min away from perfect)

I've checked google and cant seem to find any builds for it.. seems everyone goes windripper or doomfletch prism now.


any suggestions??

Windripper is popular because flat ele stacking raider is so easy to scale, especially in abyss league with the jewels. With Death's Opus you need to go phys or convert your phys damage to ele. Out of those the latter is much more popular mainly because raider and pathfinder have such strong ele damage ascendancy nodes. It also gives you more damage scalars to choose from as you can scale phys and ele both.

To convert your phys damage to ele you can use Winter Spirit (passive node), Ice shot, Signal Fire, physical to lightning support, hrimsorrow, Stormcharger, Hatred etc. Most builds try to reach 100% conversion but you can get over 100% effective conversion by using "added as" conversion sources like Hatred and Herald of Ash.

These two links are ele conversion builds, the Mathil build is from last league but should still work, you just need to adjust the passive tree around the new VP position - VP isn't necessarily required, especially if you're using ice shot to clear.

The Ashrend build uses Lioneye's but you can use Death's Opus instead and adjust your gear/passive needs accordingly regarding accuracy and crit in particular.

Not really sure why so overlooked. I like the Ashrend Build but Added Fire on a Death's Opus is silly.

It's not on the sticky list. I don't really use guides for my own bow characters anymore so I just looked at the list and Mathil's recent work to find a reference.
