Interaction with "The Golden Rule" viridian jewel

Not sure if this is a bug or a suggestion, I will post in both threads.
Bleeds inflicted on yourself do not stop at 1hp and will constantly kill your character. I'm not sure if that's intended or not, but it seems like not since RF is a bigger boost to a character and that skill stops before you commit suicide.

If this is a bug, please fix it! There are some interesting interactions with bleeding builds that you can't do because of this jewel.

If this is an intended feature, I'd like to suggest changing the self-inflicted bleed so that it will leave you with 1 hp. The bleed is already very punishing and in it's current state the trade-off is too heavy and the jewel will see very little use.

Bleeds can most certainly kill you and they don't work like RF. Never have.

Well yeah, that's why I said it's probably a suggestion, and not a bug.
Bleeds should kill you, but self-inflicted bleeding is different. This game scales enemy damage around your hp to be fair, but self-inflicted bleeding is scaled of YOUR damage to enemies (which is MUCH higher) so the bleed ends up being incredibly hard hitting, and only moderately useful.
I think the item would be much better served and useful if it would allow you to survive at 1hp, you could still die from follow up attacks if you aren't careful but it would allow more time for you to pot.

In it's current form, if you inflict a bleed from a strong hit and walk, you die nearly instantly.
Three easy solutions in that case:
1) Convert 90% of phys to elemental. Makes scaling easier and bleed more harmless.
2) Don't walk.
3) Flasks of staunching. If you'd die to it, why not remove it in that specific moment?

Besides, all self-inflicted damage EXCEPT RF can kill you... eye of innocence, heartbound loop, death's oath, hiltless, her embrace, her blessing, doedre's elixir, coralito's signature, caustic mana flasks, blood rage. All those can kill you.
