Before Elder Astral's, what were the most common chests for life builds?

Belly/Kaom's/Yriel's

None of which have a single resistance roll on them.

In order to effectively replace kaoms/belly while maintaining a 100% balanced wise oak without swapping any gear around for myself and others, I needed to make a chest with no resistances in the suffix. Again, this needed to be a drop in replacement for kaoms/belly/Yriel's.

You can watch the crafting vid when I went for suffixes I blocked fire res because of how prevalent dying sun is. I did not want Fire res on there at all.

Let's talk about crafted mod vs. no crafted mod.

First off, in order for 10% Strength to perform the same as CRAFTED +30 strength, you need 300 strength before equipping the chest. I don't know many crit builds that have over 300 strength before equipping the chest piece. So immediately the 10% strength roll is worse than crafted 30 Strength for the majority of meta crit builds. In order for 10% strength to perform the same as 50 flat strength, you need 500 strength BEFORE equipping the chest. I know zero meta crit builds with 500 strength.

Okay, so now the open spot. I personally need 30int in order to use lvl 21 crit strikes/ele focus on 3 of my characters I use this chest on. You cannot et/ex intelligence on an astral plate so it's the only way to get int on this chest. Since I don't want res, there's really no other mods to get on this chest for me. Life recovered/gained is meh because we're in standard and so many people use vinktar/acuities. If you can afford this chest, you can afford legacy acuities/vinktars.

Some people like int, some people like all attributes, some people want cold res light res or fire res to help balance their wise oak. The only way to allow this chest to make myself happy for my builds while also being a drop-in replacement for Kaoms and simultaneously reaching the widest audience possible, the 6th mod has to stay open.
