Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - I don't see my chain arrow from "Ricochet" - Forum

I use "Burning Arrow" to hit 1st monster and try to watch chaining arrow to 2nd monster , but I don't see any chain arrow to 2nd monster (no damage to 2nd monster). That is different from other chaining spell skill such as "Magma Orb" which can see chaining orb to 2nd monster. My main skill is GMP Tornado Shot which release many arrow but I think it's no chain effect too. So I think Ricochet is bug ? If it's not bug , it's useless skill because no chain effect ? Hi, Your character NoneLuckz is using the Drillneck quiver which has "Arrows Pierce an Additional Target." Arrows that Pierce cannot Chain, so in order for you to see the chain, you must hit 1st monster, pierce to 2nd monster, and then see it chain from a 2nd monster to a 3rd monster. See here: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Projectile#Effect_types Furthermore, Tornado Shot says: " Fires a piercing shot that travels until it reaches the targeted location. It will then fire projectiles out in all directions from that point. This means that you can only see the effect with the secondary projectile... so, it will look something like this: 1. Shoot arrow 2. Pierce up to infinity targets 3. Tornado explodes "secondary projetiles" 4. Secondary Projectile Pierces 1 target 5. It might be due to your arrows piercing. An arrow checks for effects in the following order, only going to the next effect if it can't do any of the previous: pierce, chain, fork, return. I make dumb builds, therefore I am.	Posted by FCK42#0688 on Jan 29, 2018, 8:02:25 AM Quote this Post
Thank for any Reply. If I don't equip Drillneck quiver which has "Arrows Pierce an Additional Target" , I will see chain effect. But I have skill "Powerful Precision" which pierce all nearby target. So my arrow will not chain to other target because it will always pierce all target before chain ? So , if I have skill "Powerful Precision" , "Ricochet" will useless skill ?
