We should be able to set multiple skills/flasks to one button

Can Chris confirm if popsicle sticks are banned?

Im sure a lot of people will come in say it is in fact against the rules, and this isn't really a hill I want to die on.
But the whole point im trying to make is if something as silly as taping a popsicle stick to your keyboard can get you banned than maybe the problem is the game design and not the players themselves. Put a small delay on flasks, just enough that it would eliminate humanly impossible speeds. You could hardly come up with a similar analogy for something like auto logout scripts or auto flasks or the effects remover that stirred up a lot of trouble a while back. |

" They don’t need to know that you used one. If GGG tries to detect people using software to use all flasks at once, and you’re using a popsicle stick to achieve the same thing, depending on their detection methods you could be flagged. If they have a log of you repeatedly sending the same input of multiple commands with the latency between each one too low and consistent for it to have been done manually, they will know you broke the rules. They have no obligation to know exactly how you did it. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

" Last league I played an RF character, and regularly used Divination Distillate together with a Ruby Flask. I asked on the forums whether it was allowed to make a macro to use two flasks simultaneously, got a reply that it was illegal, so I just bound them to my side mouse buttons which are located so close together on my mouse that I can easily press them both at once with my thumb. Didn't get banned, fortunately :) But I wonder where the line lies between hardware that is designed in a manner that allows you to press several buttons simultaneously, and hardware that has been specially modified to serve that purpose. And how GGG are going to detect the difference between the two and determine which one is bannable, and which one isn't. On a side note, if developers rely on making players press more buttons in order to get them to "engage" with the game, it might be an indication that there's something wrong with the core game mechanics... Fuck master rotas. Fuck any kind of rotas, for that matter. Last edited by DGTLDaemon#6150 on Jan 28, 2018, 3:44:01 AM

And here I was thinking how great it would be to bind all 3 of the skills I use, plus every flask to a single button, so I can watch the tennis and yell at them whilst leveling up in POE.
Damn ... Cheers, Matt. PS. Dillan Alcott is a bloody legend. There are 10 types of people. Those that know binary, and those that dont.

Manually managing your flasks is part of the game. It's one of the rare bits that actually do not depend on gear as much as on skill.
I mean, GGG could also introduce the Skill Gem "Win" so as to save people the hassle of running through a map and clicking on monsters: Clears the Map Per 1% quality: Fire 1 Win-Fireworks Bird lover of Wraeclast
