However you CAN run double aura + Banner combo, but only if you pick up Eldritch Battery (i say NO to Essence Worm). I wanted to use EB this league but i kind of withdrawn from the idea. The best solution i've found is Devouring Diadem. No need for Enlighten, no need for very high ES values due to special trigger skill and 120 ES regen craft on belt, the points spend towards EB could be spend on life instead (~same life values). It's absolutely perfect for it.


So double aura is worth it only if I use ES? And I don't understand why EB is important. Probably I don't get description of Eldritch Battery I guess :(

There's no way to have 2 auras, Clarity AND a banner on top of it without reserving your whole mana. Well, you could with 2 Essence Worms to achieve it, but that's simply a waste of rings. Eldritch Battery is necessary.

Eldritch Battery effectively turns ES into second mana pool, allowing you to freely reserve your real mana pool. If you use a skill, you will be spending ES until it depletes. Auras still reserve mana and do not interact with ES pool.

Like i mentioned, i believe Grace is not worth that extra investment. Only Devouring Diadem makes it worthwhile, great helmet on budget. Falls off with higher investment.

Hey, found an improvement for the passive tree

https://i.imgur.com/7srIokn.png these 3 life nodes give 6%, 6%, and the big one 12% for a total of 20%. You could use these instead of the life node cluster on bottom left (5% each). You gain 10 dex and a bit of leech (dont know if the leech matters)

Gem Setups:
* Grace now coexists as main aura with Malevolence
* Malevolence is now treated as an end game aura. Grace is for beginners/early-mid game.
* Added Increased AoE as optional support for Dread Banner

Equipment:
* Watcher's Eye has returned, primary mod - 18-22% chaos DoT multiplier (Malevolence).
* Brass Dome body armour removed to free up space (50k char limit). Not like anyone used it outside of Hall of Grandmasters.

Levelling and Progression:
* Added new goals for yellow and red maps.
* Yellow maps now suggests using vendor recipe to get 20% quality gems. This should solve huge problem with people not having quality on their gems at 90+ levels.
* Red maps suggest switching to Malevolence aura after you have necessary defences.

Videos:
* Note has been updated, now states the estimated damage in 3.6 build compared to the old versions.

I happened to have less time today than i expected. There will be another update tomorrow containing synthesis crafting. I'll try to proof-read whole guide since i haven't done that in a while.

Considering the guide keeps expanding and i have big issues with character limit, i'll most likely move some parts of it to the 3rd post. I knew that not having 3 posts in a row would haunt me one day...

I am fully aware of those HP nodes, i've been picking them up for as long as i remember... not anymore. You lose 1,6% regen if you go that route, which i value very highly. It also allows you to pick up jewel slot too. (total three 2-slot jewels, perfect for lvl 100 tree)

Sorry i wasn't specific enough. I meant allocating those 4 skill points there instead of the small hp nodes here https://i.imgur.com/zNr6syU.png (bottom left was an inaccurate term)

4 points on your route give 20% hp, 4 points on the other route give 20% hp, 10 dex, some leech.

Could you elaborate on this respeccing? Can I somehow do this for free at some point, or does the guide expect me to spend lots of orbs on this? Please specify this in the guide.
If I do not want to spend "money" on respeccing, should I go the onslaught way first?
What is the reason for Poacher for leveling?

And another thing, from the wiki: "Gaining Onslaught requires the player to kill while dealing a hit. Damage over time will not trigger the buff."
Isn't that a problem with CA? If not, why? Seems most of my kills come from the area damage.

Well, you are correct. However the advantage is so minor it's close to nonexistent (2% inc evasion, leech is basically useless). It's better to just leave the scion life nodes for sake of simplicity. There's one more reason, if you were to respec pierce nodes, then that path becomes inefficient. Synthesised quivers allow for that possibility.

Answers to your respeccing question can be found inside levelling guide. In short - yes, you get 20 points for free from quests and that's the amount needed to respec all nodes i suggest. That's what they're for. I state exact way of progressing, simply follow it. Way of the Poacher is used for extra damage during levelling. Might not seem to be much, but it is significant.

You've read description of Onslaught support, not onslaught mechanic. All other sources of onslaught on kill will grant you the buff if you've killed the enemy yourself (DoTs count).

Just want to give my experiences for all of you fine fellows.

I'm playing SC, but all of the gear has been super easy to get or make myself and I pretty much never die at this point. I'm about to attempt the Guardians today and I have spent next to nothing on any gear. The bow took me literally one try to get +3 bow skills (I just bought the cheapest 6 link bow that was a high enough item level). The only thing I'm really having a hard time getting is the chaos over time craft from the syndicate guys. Some of my gear is probably only worth 1c but I haven't really bothered upgrading b/c I haven't needed to.

I saw another build like this one but ES based that looked ridiculously overpowered (I think Occultist or Trickster) but honestly I don't know if I could give up this move speed (I've also been using Phase Run the whole time). It's just so ridiculously fast to the point where I can't play a slow moving build anymore.

Is there any benefit to fossil crafting the +3 Bow using an Elder base? I found an Elder Maraketh Bow last night and am wondering if it's worth trying to 6L it.

For completeness sake, is there any benefit to crafting the bow using a Shaper base?
